Four sauna modes from one heater - the Virta Combi concept A standard electric sauna heater produces dry heat and, when water is ladled over the stones, bursts of steam from the stone mass. The Virta Combi adds an integrated steam generator to this: a 5-liter steamer that produces continuous soft steam independently of the stone ladle, enabling modes that a conventional heater cannot deliver. Traditional sauna mode uses the heater and stones in the conventional way. Steam sauna mode activates the steamer to fill the room with continuous soft steam at lower temperatures, closer to a Turkish bath or hammam experience. Herbal sauna mode introduces herbal essences or infusions through designated compartments in the heater body, distributing the fragrance through the steam throughout the session.
