About: Tradescantia zebrina is a species of creeping plants in the tradescantia genus. It is used as ground cover in warm climates and as a houseplant elsewhere. The leaves are bluish green and have two longitudinal stripes that are silvery on the surface and purple on the underside. Light : From shady to bright. Avoid direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to intense sunlight will make it lose its variegation and the leaves will become purple throughout.
