Inspired by the architectural language of the wall as both structure and spatial divider, this sofa transforms a functional seating piece into a sculptural living environment. A sweeping rosa morada wood backdrop embraces the upholstered form, extending outward into a curved console element that contrasts the clean, perpendicular geometry of the seating. Conceived as both an architectural gesture and a practical extension of the piece, the integrated console, also available as an optional rear shelf configuration, can function as a desk, display surface, library ledge, or personal altar. Balancing warmth, utility, and monumentality, the design creates a layered interaction between furniture and space, blurring the boundary between object and architecture. REFUGIO is available in two versions: one with a low back and another with a high back. The high-backed model can include the console or come without it. Please inquire for custom sizing.
