Studio Frost Cast Acrylic Sheet

Studio Frost Cast Acrylic Sheet is Canal Plastics Center’s proprietary cast frosted acrylic, finished frosted on both sides with a notably smoother surface than extruded frosted Satin Ice sheet. The result is a more elegant, refined haze - less granular under raking light, cleaner under camera, and visibly more transparent when held against a backlit source. Cast also means denser and more scratch-resistant, which holds up through fabrication, shipping, and install. Studio Frost is built for lighting diffusers, LED panels, photography surfaces and shooting tables, retail displays, exhibit work, signage faces, and privacy partitions. The two-sided frosted finish means there is no glossy face to manage on edge-lit installations and no wrong side to track during fabrication. It pairs naturally with Clear Cast for layered builds, with NYC Subway Pastel for soft-light backers, and with mirror or colored cast sheets for diffused front faces over backlit graphics. It photographs beautifully when layered with our mirror acrylics. The smoother surface and higher transparency make it the cast option to specify when the finish has to read as architectural, not industrial. Cast acrylic, frosted satin finish on both sides.
