Dial Composition Blue tinted Australian abalone forms the sky, with green tinted mother of pearl below for the water. The heron combines black-lip abalone feathers, blue sapphire-toned shell in the lower feathers and crown, and cream Tahitian shell through the body. The beak and eye are anodized aluminum, while the cattails are hand painted in orange mica with UV detailing.
