Nouveau Riche '24 - Viognier (FR)

The Nouveau Riche Viognier 2024 is a generous and expressive white wine made from carefully selected Viognier grapes from the sun-drenched vineyards of the Languedoc in Southern France. After fermentation, the wine was aged for six months in French barriques, adding subtle complexity and texture while preserving the vibrant fruit character of the grape. The nose is rich and aromatic, opening with notes of apricot, ripe peach, mango and orange blossom, complemented by delicate hints of vanilla, toasted brioche and soft spice from the oak maturation. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, smooth and fruit-forward, with a round mouthfeel and beautifully integrated oak that enhances the natural opulence of Viognier. The finish is long, warm and inviting, with lingering impressions of stone fruit, honeyed citrus and a gentle creamy note.
