Arnèto 2023

The first half of 2023 was characterized by cold temperatures and moderate rainfall. However, with the arrival of spring, abundant rainfall created the ideal conditions for the vineyard to face the summer months in the best possible way. The high summer temperatures were well supported by the large water reserves in the soil. This allowed the vines to never become stressed and to achieve regular and consistent ripening. At harvest, both technological and polyphenolic values were excellent. The harvest began in early September with the sparkling base wine, then continued with Sperella and Pomontino. The Collenottolo was harvested in the last week of September, and we concluded with Arnèto in the second week of October. The wines of the 2023 vintage were fresh, harmonious, and highly balanced. Arnèto Umbria Bianco 2023 IGT Number of bottles produced: 8500 Deep straw yellow with golden reflections. The nose reveals beautiful and rich notes of citrus and yellow pulp fruit flanked by mineral hints in a context that recalls the Mediterranean scrub. The sip is satisfying, full and well balanced between freshness and matter, of great persistence. WINE PROFILE
