Zombie - Captain Farrow's Version
The Zombie wasn’t just another tropical cocktail. It was Donn Beach planting a flaming little flag in cocktail history. Created at his Hollywood bar, Don the Beachcomber, which opened in 1933, the drink became one of the defining pours of a whole new style. The Captain Farrow version has an Iconic twist, of course. 1 1/2 oz Jamaican rum 1 1/2 oz Puerto Rican 1 oz 151-proof rum 3/4 ounce Lime Leaf Tonic 1/2 oz Grapefruit Fluer de Sel 1/2 oz Spiced Honey 1/2 oz Strawberry Sage 4 dashes Pernod 1 dash Angostura bitters Garnish: mint sprig -Combine all in a shaker with ice -Shake well and pour in a Hurricane glass with ice -Claim the cocktail with that mint sprig
