The final finishing steps such as distressing the pants & applying the motor-oil color are all done by hand in our Studio in Berlin-Kreuzberg. This makes every single pants unique. The coloring will also differ a bit from pants to pants. Care Instructions: We recommend washing this specific pants as seldom as possible so that the dark motor oil color is retained. Air them instead. The color is applied externally as a second step and is not 100% permanent despite fixation. If the pants are washed, we recommend a short cold hand wash inside out. The dark color will definitely fade a little bit when washing. In our opinion this just adds more specific character to your pants, but yea, warranty claims for a "fading color" are excluded for this reason.
