Wednesday 2nd September 2026 Darkness Meditation: Into the Shadow With Intuitive Painting & Follow-Up Interpretation 2 hours | £15pp AURUM, Temple of Frequency, Sleaford A guided shadow meditation, intuitive painting session and personal interpretation follow-up. Darkness Meditation: Into the Shadow is a powerful but gentle 2-hour session created for those who feel ready to meet the parts of themselves they may have hidden, ignored, outgrown, protected or misunderstood. This is not about making the shadow scary. Your shadow self is not something to fear. It can be the part of you that holds old pain, suppressed emotion, forgotten gifts, buried truth, survival patterns, inner wisdom and the things you have not yet felt safe enough to fully look at. In this session, you will be guided through a darkness meditation to meet your shadow self, listen to what comes forward and ask for guidance on what needs to be seen, softened, released or understood. We will also invite spiritual guidance into the session, asking what direction, message or insight may be needed for you at this point in your life and that this comes forward through expressive art. After the meditation, you will create an intuitive painting based on what has come through. You do not need to be artistic. At all. This is not about painting something pretty, neat or “good.” Most of the time it is shapes, colours, marks, splodges, lines, symbols or whatever your hand decides to throw at the paper while your brain is still trying to understand what just happened. You may choose to paint blindfolded, or simply paint intuitively with your eyes open. There is no right or wrong way to do it. Everything you paint, the colour chosen, the strokes, shapes, use of space are all decipherable code. What to Expect We will begin by settling into the space and gently preparing for the meditation. This will take place in the salt room. You will then be guided into a darkness meditation where you are invited to meet your shadow self and explore what comes up for you. This may bring forward emotions, symbols, memories, images, colours, sensations, messages or simply a feeling. You will be guided to ask your shadow self and spirit for insight, including: What am I ready to understand? What part of me needs attention? What have I been avoiding? What guidance do I need right now? What is ready to be seen, softened or released? Where do I go from here? After the meditation, you will move into intuitive painting. This may be done blindfolded or with your eyes open, depending on what feels right for you. You will choose colours, shapes and movements without trying to overthink or control the outcome. The painting becomes a visual expression of what your subconscious, shadow self and spiritual guidance have brought forward. Allow the site from your third eye, transmute into your hand. Let it flow. And yes, if it looks like a toddler has had an emotional breakthrough with a paintbrush, that is absolutely allowed and will reveal more than you realise. The Follow-Up Interpretation Once the paintings have dried, I will spend time reading and interpreting each piece roughly 1 week after the session, as I need time to go through them individually. I can either contact you, to invite you to come back in for a chat, OR I can record a video to send to you/video call. This is personal interpretation and any guidance that has come through. Very similar to having a reading. You can also collect your artwork after the follow up too! Some like to frame them! Past clients have said the interpretations have been incredibly detailed, deeply accurate and helped them understand themselves in a completely new way. Some have said it gave them clarity on what they were carrying, what direction they needed to move in, and why they no longer felt as lost in the world afterwards. Each painting is read intuitively, looking at colour, shape, placement, energy, symbolism and what comes through spiritually around the piece. Your follow-up is included in the price.
