Secondhand FRIB F-RIB 275 (9ft) Folding RIB with Suzuki 6 FRIB F-RIB folding hull RIBs can be stored or transported where you thought it was impossible: on the deck of a yacht, or in the back of a car, for example. It may also mean you can choose one a size or two larger than you otherwise would; that means great carrying capacity, comfort and speed. The hull sections have interlocking tabs and slots, held together by the pressure in the tubes. Once assembled it’s difficult to tell they fold. This is a good used example of the popular and much sought after FRIB F-RIB 275 folding RIB. It needs a really thorough session with a jet washer and a scrape of the hull, but look below the superficial appearance and it’s in great condition… it will never be cosmetically perfect but it holds air fine with no patches etc. It was well-specified from new – originally sold to the current vendor by us – to include removable transom wheels, bow canopy and a Suzuki 6hp outboard (pairs really nicely with these boats). As these original FRIBs are not currently in production it’s a great opportunity to buy a boat for much less than half the cost of its closest modern equivalent, the Fore Runner 280, equipped to the same level.
