Glaucoma is a progressive damage to the optic nerve most often associated with (and caused by) increased intraocular pressure. In fact, hyaluronic acid, which is obtained through biotechnological synthesis, gives rise to a mucomimetic, mucoadhesive and viscoelastic solution, capable of improving the stability of the tear film and in this way OMK1 keeps the surface of the eye lubricated, hydrated and protected.² OMK1 improves retinal function and neuronal transmission associated with Open Angle Glaucoma.
