There is no denying the controversy of bullfighting, but its brutal bloodied role is undeniably soaked in complex symbolism, traditions and spectacle. Any perceived glamour is outweighed by the shock and horror of how the bulls are treated. There is however a disturbing nobility to the bulls and Chinese Zodiacal Bull people have the attributes of diligence, strength, perseverance, patience and trust worthiness. This image we have of the corrida bulls is difficult to separate from any realistic consideration. Boadicea the Victorious’ Torero is a totally unexpected interpretation of the bull, a juicy melon and pear infused jasmine and classic Rose de Mai, with bitter cassis foliage and the inky smoke of cypriol.
