As with the hybrid version, this signature mouthpiece comes in two sizes tuned to different playing needs: the JP, with a diameter just under a Bach 3, a flat and comfortable rim, and a tapered C cup suited to a versatile, rich sound especially in the upper register; and the LP, sharing the same diameter and rim as the JP but voiced for a sharper, more brilliant sound favoured by lead players. For players who prefer a fully brass tone without the wooden-cup hybrid construction, this version delivers the same Urquiza-designed rim and cup geometry in a traditional all-metal build.
