2025 Cirelli Pinot Grigio

Francesco Cirelli farms organically in the hills of Atri, overlooking the Adriatic in Abruzzo. For 2025, he teamed up with Vanya Filipovic of Montreal’s Vin de Dame Jeanne to create a special cuvée with Canada in mind. The idea was to find a meeting point between the crisp, easygoing character of Italian Pinot Grigio and the richer texture and aromatics associated with Pinot Gris. Hhand harvested, chilled and a short period of skin contact before spontaneous fermentation, with ageing in stainless steel and concrete to preserve freshness. Pear and crisp apple meet riper stone fruit, lychee and a touch of honey, with subtle almond and spice underneath. Dry and lively, but with enough texture to give it a little more substance than your typical Pinot Grigio.
