Early American Sampler

This counted cross-stitch sampler is a fun project reminiscent of needlework samplers from past centuries. It is an advanced beginner project that features the alphabet, numbers, heart motifs, and decorative boarders. Samplers served as a needlework sketchbook, where women would stitch letters, numbers, decorative patterns that could be replicated on future projects. In addition to history and instructions, this kit includes: a 9-inch by 12-inch piece of 11-count Aida cloth, floss, needle, and graph.
