Hotel Victoria Wool Blanket

When our blanket arrived from the sheep farm yesterday, it proved even better than we dreamed. I draped it on a chair to photograph and my cat, Claude, was obsessed with it. I then decided to investigate the history of this hotel. Assuming it was a European luxury accommodation, imagime my surprise to discover the hotel was built in my hometown in 1888! Frequented by wealthy cattle men, its distinction was the first hotel with clawfoot bath tubs in every room. Sadly, the grand hotel burned to the ground in 1961. This beautiful Victorian design is rendered in a cabernet blue-red with tea-hued design. Hail to our sweet city. 100% soft brushed lambswool. The patch reads: Soft sheep give us cozy covers.
