Spa Plating’s Zinc Brush Plating Solution is ideal for repairing damaged zinc coatings, touching up missed areas after tank plating, carrying out restoration work and plating one-off engineering components. If a small batch of parts has accidentally been left out when sending components to the plating shop, or replacement parts are needed urgently for a vehicle show or repair, the solution provides a quick and practical way of matching the existing zinc finish. It is also ideal for plating individual components where only a modest coating thickness is required and the convenience of brush plating outweighs the need for setting up a plating tank. Unlike tank plating, brush plating allows you to plate only the area requiring treatment. This makes it ideal for repairing damaged coatings, touching up missed areas and restoring localised corrosion protection without stripping and replating the whole component. The bright, slightly off-white deposit quickly polishes to a brilliant metallic finish using MPU or MPU Coarse.
