It has a slightly dry touch, and you can definitely recognize the presence of viscose in the blend. However, don't let that first impression fool you. I knitted my sample using four strands on US 4 (3.5 mm) knitting needles, and after washing the yarn completely transformed. The slight dryness disappeared, the fabric relaxed beautifully, and the finished sample became surprisingly soft for a yarn containing 60% Merino Wool. The stitches opened nicely, the fabric developed a gentle halo, and the tweed effect became even more attractive. One of the details I love most is the subtle dark brown tweed flecks running throughout the yarn. They give every color more depth and create a sophisticated, natural appearance that looks far more interesting than a flat solid color. Even neutral shades become rich and elegant.
