Crater Lake Reserve Rye Whiskey

With the spirits in our Reserve Collection we try to create something just a bit better. The Reserve Rye Whiskey is higher proof than our Straight Rye and there is 5% malted barley in the mash bill where the Straight Rye is 100% rye mash. If our Straight Rye is a sipper reminiscent of early American rye whiskies then the Reserve is a cocktail whiskey with a more contemporary flavor profile. Is it better?
