Introduced during the late 1970s (5 mill-6 mill cases), the Mk2 Maxi dial retains the bold oversized luminous hour plots that gave the Maxi series its nickname. Produced for only a relatively short period, the Mk2 represents one of the most desirable configurations of the reference 5513 and has become a favourite among vintage Rolex enthusiasts thanks to its unmistakable character and rarity. Offered here is a reference 5513 fitted with this highly desirable Mk2 Maxi dial. The dial is beautifully preserved, with the lume plots and matching hands having developed an attractive warm cream patina that perfectly complements the watch's honest tool-watch aesthetic.
