A pair of antique silk-embroidered textile pieces, likely cuffs or front decorative panels from a woman's dress, in tight silk embroidery with stylized medallions and small diamond motifs. The pieces feature maroon, gold, blue-violet, and rose tones, with rows of small repeating diamonds bordering the central medallion bands. Pieces such as these were typically part of a woman's dowry, passed down through the generations. Circa late 1800s. Why We Love It The silk stitching is remarkably fine and even throughout.
