Antique Hand-Painted Gilt Filigree Vanity Mirror & Brush Set

Some antique vanity pieces are simply beautiful to look at, and this charming mirror and brush set is one of them. Each piece is framed in ornate gilt filigree and decorated with hand-painted silk panels showing courting couples—a wonderfully romantic detail that makes this set feel so personal. The beveled mirror has a lovely aged presence, and the matching brush completes the set beautifully. It is unmarked but was most likely made by Apollo Studios or another premier maker of fine ladies' accessories in the early 1900s. There is a small amount of discoloration to the silk, as shown.
