The EHX Percolator requires 10mA at 9VDC on a center-negative plug. Do not exceed 12VDC at the power jack. When using a 9V battery, plugging into the INPUT jack activates power. The input cable should be removed when the unit is not in use to avoid running down the battery.[/nectar_hotspot][nectar_hotspot left=”43.6423%” top=”36.9022%” position=”left”] BALANCE Knob Sets the output level of the distortion effect. At low settings it produces smooth overdrives and distortions. In FUZZ mode, the clipping diodes are engaged for a heavy fuzz sound. The status LED lights when the effect is engaged. The LED is off in bypass. The EHX Percolator employs True Bypass with a mechanical relay. The footswitch includes a momentary action: pressing and holding the footswitch for more than half a second returns the Percolator to the previous state upon release. For a more pronounced sub-octave effect, adjust the trim pot counterclockwise. The factory setting for the trim pot is set to noon.
