ASSA 600 Oval Cylinder Cutaway by Jordan the Locksmith

Condition: Lightly used, new pins and keys This ASSA 600 oval cylinder cutaway clearly exposes the inner workings of the ASSA 600 platform. It is built on a lightly used cylinder fitted with new pins, and includes two new keys. This piece is mainly for looks and key operation. It is a good fidget piece, and it can tolerate gentle picking as well. As with any cutaway lock, light tension and careful use are recommended to preserve the lock and maintain proper operation. The anti-drill pin between chambers 1 and 2 can be gently tapped out from the inside bottom if you prefer the look without it. Jordan the Locksmith is a full-time locksmith and custom cutaway maker. He has been picking locks since around 2010 and has worked professionally as a locksmith since 2017. Jordan began making cutaways in 2019 as a way to better understand lock mechanics and improve his own picking, starting with simple hand tools before moving into more precise mill work.
