Mund was a fifth generation commercial fisherman converted to Christ in 1966 through the ministry of Pastor Roy Chancey (himself a converted fisherman). He graduated from Pensacola Bible Institute of Pensacola, Florida (B.D.) and Great Plains Baptist Divinity School, Sioux Falls, South Dakota (M.Div. and D.Min.). He pastored for over forty–five years and was the founder and director of Fishers of Men Ministries International (a world–wide outreach working seacoast areas through evangelizing and establishing local bible–believing churches). He passed away on September 6, 2021. He loved to write about the sea, having spent the first part of his life in the fishing industry. His rich heritage comes from his father and mother who made their living from the sea. You will enjoy the sea stories, especially as you find they have root in the Bible.
