Harriet is perpetually concerned. Not alarmed exactly, but there is always something. Is that dog supposed to be off-leash? Was that package sitting there yesterday? And has anyone else noticed that the number 47 bus has been coming later and later? Her wide eyes and little “O” mouth make her look as though she has just spotted the latest neighbourhood development — and she will absolutely be bringing it up the next time she sees you. Harriet means well.
