Luminox Atacama Field

Inspired by the extraordinary landscape of Chile's Atacama Desert, the Luminox Atacama Field XL.1970.2 brings classic field-watch readability together with the lightweight performance of modern Luminox construction. Its 43mm CARBONOX™ case surrounds a beautifully textured black dial, with warm sand-coloured Arabic numerals recalling the rugged desert terrain that gives the collection its name. A 12- and 24-hour display reinforces its traditional field-watch character, while the red-tipped seconds hand and small red arrow beside the date at 3 o'clock add subtle flashes of colour and improve readability. Protected by sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, the XL.1970.2 is powered by a Swiss Ronda 515 quartz movement and features Luminox Light Technology, providing a constant self-powered glow for up to 25 years. The watch is water resistant to 100 metres and weighs just 66g, making it particularly comfortable for everyday wear. Finished with a black strap, the Atacama Field has a much more understated character than Luminox's Navy SEAL models — equally at home in the city, outdoors or worn as a casual everyday watch.
