Barbier Chrome Table Lamp
A sculptural table lamp in chrome over nickel with a cylindrical base and spherical center, designed by Philippe Barbier. Barbier worked in Paris during the 1960s and 1970s under the name Maison Barbier, creating lighting for French film sets. He was known for his polished chrome over nickel pieces in sculptural forms. The lamp is paired with a conical shade handmade in Sweden using a structured hemp linen from Astrid Textiles, Stockholm. The base has been updated with new electrics.
