Mokonuts is the debut cookbook from Moko Hirayama and Omar Koreitem, the couple behind the beloved Paris restaurant of the same name in the city's 11th arrondissement. Hirayama, trained in both pastry and savoury kitchens, and Koreitem, raised in Paris after a Lebanese upbringing, built a menu that moves easily between Middle Eastern warmth, Japanese precision, French technique, and American comfort. Organized into five sections — Morning, Appetizers, Mains, Larder, and Sweet — the book walks through 100 recipes drawn straight from the restaurant, alongside the stories and ingredients that shape them. Named a best cookbook of the year by the Los Angeles Times and The Strategist, it's as much a portrait of a small Paris kitchen as it is a recipe collection.
