Printmaking for Christmas with Karen Carter - Thurs 12th November 2026

Thursday 12th November 2026 10am - 4pm Enjoy a fun day creating a variety of handmade stamps, some simple do-at-home drypoint techniques, and some easy masking methods to make a range of festive goodies! We will explore combinations of print, paint - and of course plenty of glitter and bling! Techniques can be done on paper for card-making and gift wrap or tags (we’ll even squeeze in a simple origami box – perfect for those emergency gifts!) Some techniques will also work well on fabric for decorations and bunting. Absolutely no experience needed for this fun and informal workshop – just prepare to play! Please bring cartridge paper, blank cards and fabric such as plain cotton or calico if you wish (optional) Please note: sewing would need to be done at home due to time constraints! It would also be useful to bring some kitchen roll, rubber, glue stick, dessert spoon. Optional: Glitter glue, metallic pens (tutor will also bring some) Karen is an enthusiastic and experienced tutor specialising in printmaking, watercolours/acrylics and mixed media. Her method of teaching is both informal but instructional, aiming to encourage everyone’s creativity in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
