Nox Lift-Top LED Nightstand

Nox is a nightstand for people who are tired of a lamp, a tangle of chargers, and a drawer that holds none of it. The top lifts on a gas strut to a hidden well. The front rail carries a low LED with three settings: warm reading, a cooler task light, and a dim night glow. USB-A and USB-C live at the back so the phone cable is not the first thing you see. The body is engineered wood with a wood-look laminate — honest about that. It is not walnut furniture from a joinery shop. It is an outlet bedside system: one object instead of three, in the finish lane of a hotel room, at a price that is allowed to look like an outlet. Light The LED is a bedside pool, not a floor lamp. Warm sits around a reading 2700 K, task around 4000 K, night is a low amber so you can find the glass of water without waking the rest of the room. If we later add a motion toe-kick on the Plus version, it is a floor-level path light, not a security flood. Charge Standard: USB-A and USB-C on the rear rail, powered from the same adapter as the LED. Plus: the same ports plus a wireless pad on the lift-top (phone-case-dependent; thick wallets and some metal cases will not charge — that is physics, not a defect). These are bedside rates, not a laptop power station. Assemble and live with it Expect 30–45 minutes, cam locks, two people to flip the carcass without scuffing the laminate. The lift-top wants a free wall behind it — do not jam the stand under a low shelf. Level the feet. If the LED ever feels hot to a resting hand, unplug it and write to us; it should run warm, not painful. Shipping and electrical notes This ships as a furniture carton, heavier than a lamp.
