Seogwang Joongjak / Seogwang Second Flush - Jeju (org) 서광다원 중작 Seogwang Tea Garden Joongjak This green tea is sourced from Seogwang Tea Garden located on the small southern island of Jeju in South Korea, which is a fully organic tea estate. This tea is made from the classic two leaves and a bud picking during the second flush (picking) which in Korean tea grading, is called Joongjak. The right amount of sun, fertile volcanic soil, & clear water make the highest quality leaf with a flowery fresh taste and a light jade coloured infusion. Notes: I think more people need to try good Korean tea. The flavour is light and fresh, with low astringency. It is buttery like Japanese tea, but not as grassy, and lighter than a Chinese tea. I recommend lightly steeping this tea over multiple infusions to see if it may be a new favourite! ingredients: organic green tea
