Premium Sencha Blend 'Kaguya' 50g This sencha has been created with a blend of Saemidori and kirai 31 cultivars. It has a well balanced and rounded flavour with a full body. The warm wet leaf has a nutty, biscuit aroma. The infused leaves are buttery with velvety mouthfeel. The tea is sweet and fragrantly vegetal and some delicate umami notes and a hint of floral aroma to finish. Steeping Notes: 5g | 150-200ml | 70°C | 60-90sec Re-steep multiple times at cooler temperatures before raising the temperature and reducing steeping time for the last few steeps. In 1942 the first master decided to move his wholesale business to the Yame region, famed for its Yamecha, and start growing tea himself. His son, Kippei Kurihara is now a respected member of the Yame City legislature while sons Yuji and Akio begin to take over the tea agriculture business.
