The Autumn 2026 issue of FCR marks our 150th issue, and is an edition worthy of celebration. We look back over the genesis of FCR with an article by Andrew Lowe, while Steve Barron looks at the rise and fall of fast craft during the lifetime of the magazine. Andrew Cooke reviews the story of British cruise newcomer Ambassador Cruise Line, Matt Davies charts the career of North Sea Ferries' Norsea and Norsun until their demise in 2025, and Matt Murtland presents a photo feature on the Merak to Bakauheni operation, which is the busiest Indonesian route with a diverse fleet, including the former St David.
