A SOFA DESIGNED AROUND YOUR ROOM The Donald is fully modular, so you are not restricted to the five-seater layout shown in the photographs. The console can be placed between any of the seats, allowing you to position the drinks coolers, wireless charger and controls wherever they are most convenient. Individual seats can also be added, removed or repositioned. This means you can create a smaller sofa for a more limited space, add extra seats for a larger family or move the console to your preferred position. Each armless seat added or removed adjusts the overall length by approximately 50cm. The drinks-console module accounts for approximately 30cm and can be repositioned anywhere within the layout. WILL IT FIT IN YOUR ROOM? The five-seater configuration shown measures approximately 320cm long. Use this simple guide to check whether it will work in your room. Measure the available wall Measure the full length of the wall where you intend to position the sofa. Remember to account for: Doorways and the space needed for doors to open Radiators, fireplaces and skirting boards Windows and curtains Plug sockets you need to access Side tables and other furniture Walkways around both ends of the sofa Space in front of the reclining seats Mark out the sofa on your floor Use masking tape to mark a line approximately 320cm long where the back of the sofa will sit. Marking out the sofa will help you see whether it could obstruct a doorway, radiator, walkway or other furniture. You should also mark out the space in front of the sofa and make sure there is enough clear room for the reclining footrests to open comfortably. Adjust the length using the modules Each armless seat is approximately 50cm wide. The drinks-console module is approximately 30cm wide. To reduce the overall length: Remove one armless seat to reduce it by approximately 50cm Remove the console to reduce it by approximately 30cm Remove one seat and the console to reduce it by approximately 80cm To increase the overall length: Add one armless seat to increase it by approximately 50cm Add one console to increase it by approximately 30cm Add one seat and one console to increase it by approximately 80cm For example: Removing one 50cm seat would reduce the sofa from approximately 320cm to 270cm. Removing the 30cm console would reduce it from approximately 320cm to 290cm. Removing one seat and the console would reduce it from approximately 320cm to 240cm. Adding one 50cm seat would increase it from approximately 320cm to 370cm. Moving the console to a different position will not change the sofa’s overall length—it simply changes where the console sits within the layout. Check access into your home The Donald separates into individual modules for delivery, making access considerably easier than with a one-piece five-seater sofa.
