Country: North Macedonia Produced from carefully hand-selected and picked grapes of the Vranac and Kratošija varieties (7%), grown at 550 meters above sea level, it announces in advance the freshness and herbality of the mountain terroir. The exceptional complexity of the wine was formed by aging for a full 31 months in a combination of new and partially used French and American oak barrels. Full-bodied and richly structured, the wine offers impressive depth and character. The initial fruity experience is more and more transformed into unmistakable aromas of mocha and herbal pleasures, which, along with very ripe cherries, fill a long, persistent finish. Wine is certainly an ideal companion for red meat and game, but to drink it alone and feel the freshness and terroir of the old "heroic" vineyard and its steep slopes down which the snow descends is a unique experience.
