One of Tenuta San Jacopo’s flagship organic reds, “Orma del Diavolo” is a Super Tuscan-style blend of 50% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, grown on the estate near Cavriglia. The wine undergoes a long 25–30 day maceration followed by approximately 24 months in French barriques and six months in bottle, producing a rich yet distinctly Tuscan expression. The 2019 shows ripe black cherry, wild berries and plum layered with red flowers, sweet spice, licorice, smoke, menthol and balsamic notes.
