2015 Gibson Memphis '59 ES-175 VOS in Natural (Pre-owned) A stunning example of Gibson’s Memphis Custom Shop craftsmanship, this 2015 ES-175D '59 Reissue VOS finished in the less commonly seen Natural, captures much of the feel and character of a late-’50s ES-175. Built with a fully hollow laminated maple body, chunky late-’50s neck profile, rosewood fingerboard and classic split parallelogram inlays, it has the warm, woody acoustic character that made the original ES-175 such a popular choice for jazz and blues players. The VOS nitrocellulose finish gives the guitar a lightly aged vintage appearance, while the pair of MHS humbuckers deliver a broad range of warm, articulate tones, from traditional jazz through to blues and more contemporary styles. Lightweight, resonant and beautifully balanced, this is a particularly fine example of Gibson’s Memphis-era ES-175 reissues. In excellent condition throughout. The neck pickup volume knob has a minor hairline crack, which is purely cosmetic and has no effect on its functionality. Comes complete with its original hard case and certificate of authenticity.
