Low Profile GM Metric Disc Brake Caliper for Willys & Jeep Disc Brake Conversions Upgrade your Willys or Jeep disc brake conversion with our new low-profile GM metric brake caliper. Designed specifically for The JeepsterMan front and rear disc brake conversion kits, these calipers provide additional wheel clearance without sacrificing braking performance. Unlike standard GM metric calipers, these feature a relieved upper casting that creates additional clearance between the caliper and wheel. In most applications, this allows them to clear factory 16-inch Willys Jeep steel wheels without the use of wheel spacers, making them the perfect solution for restorations and stock wheel applications. These calipers also fit most aftermarket 15-inch steel wheels. However, they will not clear original factory 15-inch Willys and Jeep steel wheels without wheel spacers. Manufactured from brand-new components, each caliper is 100% pressure tested to ensure leak-free performance and long service life. The zinc-plated finish provides excellent corrosion resistance, while the new phenolic piston helps reduce heat transfer for consistent braking performance.
