2026 K1 Rosé
Adelaide Hills Story: The 2026 K1 Rosé is a unique blend led by Durif and Nebbiolo, with smaller portions of Grüner Veltliner, Tempranillo and Gamay adding freshness and complexity. Picked early to retain natural acidity, this dry Rosé was crafted to be bright, refreshing and full of character, making it just as enjoyable on its own as it is around the table. Vintage: The 2026 Adelaide Hills vintage was a season of patience. A cool, wet spring delayed growth, before a warm, dry summer and gentle autumn allowed gradual ripening. The extended season retained natural acidity and aromatic lift while building flavour and structure, resulting in bright, balanced wines with purity, freshness and fine cool-climate detail. Nose: Fresh aromas of strawberry and watermelon lead the nose, followed by white cherry, cranberry and a subtle hint of white chocolate. The result is bright, lifted and inviting. Palate: Bone dry and crisp, the palate shows flavours of pomegranate, watermelon and cranberry, layered with a subtle river pebble minerality. Partial malolactic fermentation adds texture and complexity while maintaining a fresh, clean finish. Pairing: Perfectly paired with halloumi cheese, accompanied by blistered cherry tomatoes and cracked black pepper.
