Part of Yamamotojin's Juunin Toiro collection, this tenugui features a charming rabbit-inspired design by Kyoto textile artist Hiroshi Oishi. It has 3 rabbits featured on the tenugui in a wave-like movement. The beige fabric gives the fabric a calming atmosphere that goes with the very soft texture. This tenugui is made from double layered gauze, which makes it very soft to the touch and lightweight, and perfect as a hand towel as it is quick drying. Unlike traditional tenugui, all the edges of this tenugui are hemmed, typically of double gauze tenuguis. About tenugui Tenugui are very thin pieces of cotton fabric. You can use them for pretty much anything. While they are traditionally used as a hand towel because of their superiour absorption properties, you can use them as a table runner, wrap, head scarf (they are commonly used as a head band in Kendo), and even just as a decorative tapestry piece.
