Medi-Plinth 2-Section Treatment Couch - Electric

The Medi-Plinth BA02 Electric 2-Section Examination Couch is a British-manufactured treatment couch designed for GP surgeries, hospitals, outpatient departments and medical clinics. Featuring electric height adjustment and a gas-assisted backrest, this examination couch provides a stable and comfortable surface for everyday patient examinations and treatments. With a 260kg safe working load (SWL), durable antimicrobial upholstery and practical mobility features, the couch is designed to meet the demands of busy professional healthcare environments. Electric Height Adjustment The Medi-Plinth BA02 features electric height adjustment powered by a Linak® high-reliability actuator, allowing healthcare professionals to raise or lower the treatment surface to suit different patients and procedures. Its extra-low entry height helps facilitate patient access and transfers, while powered adjustment allows practitioners to select a suitable working position without manually operating a hydraulic mechanism. A footswitch is available as an optional accessory for hands-free height adjustment. Two-Section Design with Adjustable Backrest The couch features a two-section upholstered treatment surface with a gas-assisted backrest. This allows practitioners to adjust the patient's upper body position for examinations, consultations and routine treatment procedures. The simple two-section design provides flexibility for both seated and lying examinations while maintaining a comfortable and supportive treatment surface. 260kg Safe Working Load With a safe working load of 260kg, the BA02 electric examination couch is designed to accommodate a broad range of patients. Its robust construction provides a stable examination surface for regular use in GP surgeries, hospitals and other healthcare facilities. The combination of powered height adjustment and a high load capacity makes it a practical choice for clinical environments requiring reliable examination equipment. Antimicrobial Vinyl Upholstery The Medi-Plinth BA02 features durable, easy-clean vinyl upholstery designed for professional healthcare settings. The upholstery includes antimicrobial protection, with resistance to methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), and Bio-Pruf treatment to help resist mould, mildew and odour-causing bacteria. Its fire-retardant properties and range of available colours make it suitable for busy treatment rooms where hygiene, comfort and durability are important. Retractable Castors and Patient Accessibility The couch features retractable rubber castors, allowing healthcare professionals to reposition the equipment within the treatment room when required. Adjustable feet help maintain stability on uneven floors, while the extra-low entry height assists patients when accessing or transferring onto the examination surface. These practical features support everyday use in busy clinical environments. Paper Roll Holder Included A paper roll holder is fitted as standard, providing convenient access to examination couch paper during routine patient appointments. This allows practitioners to prepare the treatment surface efficiently between examinations and supports day-to-day clinical workflows. Designed for GP Surgeries and Medical Clinics Manufactured in the UK, the Medi-Plinth BA02 Electric Examination Couch is suitable for general practices, outpatient departments, hospitals, health centres and private medical clinics. Its electric height adjustment, comfortable upholstered surface and adjustable backrest make it suitable for routine patient assessments, examinations and consultations.
