Antique handmade Pond Yacht Model. Denmark. From the 1920s. A beautiful and well-preserved model of a classic keel yacht, built as a "pond yacht" for sailing on ponds and lakes. The hull is handmade in pitch pine with fine, natural growth rings, while the deck fittings and keel blocks are made of mahogany for a beautiful contrast. The elegant hull with a long overhang in the bow and stern, as well as the low freeboard, are characteristic of genuine keel yacht design from the period. Display stands are included. Measurements: L 60 cm, B 14 cm, H (incl. stander) 87 cm. A rare and decorative collectible with authentic patina. A fantastic detail for the home, office, or maritime collection.
