GECKO-41 Classic Utility — Japanese Oak Wood Handle The GECKO-41 is a strictly limited special-order version of Hattori's all-time best-selling #3718 Classic Utility with the natural warmth of Japanese Oak wood. Japanese Oak wood, known as "Nara-no-ki" in Japan, has unique natural wood grain and taste. For the special handles, Master Hattori personally selected exceptional pieces with particularly beautiful grain and high quality. Each piece was then carefully treated using Hattori’s traditional wood-stabilizing process, preserving its natural character while enhancing its stability. The Japanese Oak wood handle is complemented by black fiber spacers with a quiet warmth, reflecting Master Hattori’s thoughtful craftsmanship and deep appreciation for natural materials. This knife features a 4-inch VG-10 blade in a half-mirror polish, Japanese Oak wood handle with hidden tang, solid Brass hilt and buttcap, Black Fiber Spacers and comes with a dark brown leather sheath.
