Candlestick Set in Opal Blue, 10.25"h (Ben Owen III)

This candlestick style was first made by Ben Owen Sr. in the 1920s while working at Jugtown pottery. Ben Owen III continues the signature style of his family in this traditional Opal Blue glaze. Covered in a Ben Owen Pottery proprietary glaze blend, Opal Blue, each piece displays a beautiful array of variegated hues. The glaze was named after the incredible natural color of blue opals. The rich color of the red clay enhances the blue glaze coating. Measuring 4.75” base diameter x 1.75" mid-diameter x 10.25”top height (9"h at top of bowl).
