A shirt developed from a flat pattern. With its inset shoulder pads and draping from large tucks, it gives the impression of a jacket worn over it. Wanting to create a boxy shirt that does not depend on the wearer’s body shape—something I had never done before—I explored a unique approach to form. It is one of my favorite pieces this season.
