WoodGate’s story began when an Okanagan orchard was being replanted and mature fruit trees needed to be removed. Rather than seeing that incredible wood go to waste, it was reclaimed and sold as premium cooking wood for smokers and pizza ovens. As pellet grills became more popular, WoodGate took the next step: turning that same locally sourced orchard wood into premium BBQ pellets.
