Napoleon Linear Gas Patioflame Fire Table (GPFL48MHP)

The Linear Gas Patioflame is a long, low 60,000 BTU fire feature: 52 in by 18 in and only 11.5 in high, in stainless steel with a hammertone pewter finish. It sits in front of a sectional the way a coffee table does, and the flame runs the length of it. Topaz CRYSTALINE glass and a burner lid come in the box. Certified to ANSI Z21.97 / CSA 2.41 as an outdoor decorative gas appliance. Specifications Model GPFL48MHP Heat output 60,000 BTU Size 52 x 18 in Height 11.5 in Finish Hammertone pewter Construction Premium stainless steel Ignition Electronic, AAA battery included Media included Topaz CRYSTALINE glass Fuel Propane as shipped, natural gas orifice in the box Propane connection External cylinder on the supplied hose and regulator (QCC1) Shipping weight 82 lb Coffee height, not table height At 11.5 in this is not something people gather around on patio chairs. It belongs in front of low lounge seating, where the flame lands at eye level for someone sitting back. If you want a table to pull chairs up to, look at the 25 in Hamptons or the 23 in St. Tropez instead. Getting that wrong is the most common complaint on this category. Propane The cylinder does not go inside this unit. It sits outside on the pressure regulator and hose assembly that ships with it, with a QCC1 connection. Napoleon says not to store a spare cylinder under or near the appliance, so plan where the tank will live before it arrives. Clearances 24 in to combustibles at the sides and 72 in overhead. The overhead number rules out most covered patios and pergolas. Napoleon allows it directly on a combustible surface as long as those clearances are kept. Vent free, no flue. Fuel It ships for propane with the natural gas orifice supplied in the box, so there is no separate natural gas part number. Have a qualified gas technician make the swap and connect the line. Max inlet is 7.0 in w.c. on natural gas and 11.0 in w.c. on propane. What is included The Linear Patioflame, stainless steel burner, electronic igniter with its AAA battery, burner lid, topaz CRYSTALINE glass, the propane regulator and hose, and the natural gas orifice. Not included: a windscreen, a cover and the propane cylinder. Made for this unit Glass windscreen GPFL-WNDSCRN, $389. On a long, open burner the wind is what puts the flame out, so on an exposed site this is the first add-on to take. Fire glass kits in 5 lb bags, topaz, amber, clear, blue, black or red, as embers or beads, $107.25 each. Only to change the look, since topaz glass already ships with it. Napoleon does not list a factory cover for the Linear in the current range. Call 628-777-2254 if you want one sourced. Warranty Napoleon publishes the Linear Patioflame at 3 year limited, with the full terms in the manual. This is the outdoor line, so it does not carry the President's Limited Lifetime Warranty. Salt and chlorine environments are excluded. Freight It ships LTL on a pallet with liftgate to curbside and a scheduled delivery appointment. Inspect it and note any damage on the delivery ticket before you sign, because concealed damage claims on a finished top are hard to win after the fact.
