Tales of Eternia Remastered - Nintendo Switch

Buy Tales of Eternia Remastered in Australia Tales of Eternia Remastered brings one of the most loved early entries in Bandai Namco's Tales series to Nintendo Switch for the first time. Originally released on PlayStation in 2000 (and known in North America as Tales of Destiny II), this classic JRPG has been carefully remastered by TOSE, the studio behind Tales of Graces f Remastered, as the latest chapter in the Tales Remastered Project. Its gorgeous hand-crafted 2D sprite art is preserved and polished, alongside a bundle of modern quality-of-life upgrades that make it easier than ever for newcomers and long-time fans to dive in. The adventure is set in Eternia, a world split into two isolated realms, Inferia and Celestia, that face each other across the sky. In the remote Inferian village of Rasheans, young hunter Reid Hershel and his childhood friend Farah Oersted discover a crashed craft and a mysterious girl named Meredy inside. Joined by their old friend Keele, they set out on a journey across both worlds to uncover the truth behind the looming Great Fall, a catastrophe that threatens to destroy Inferia and Celestia alike. Classic Real-Time Tales Combat Battles use the series' fast, action-packed Linear Motion Battle System on a 2D battlefield. Take direct control of your party to chain physical Artes into combos, then unleash powerful Craymel spells drawn from the elemental spirits of Eternia. It's skill-based, real-time JRPG combat that rewards timing and positioning, and it remains a fan favourite more than 25 years on. Remastered Visuals with a Nostalgic Twist Tales of Eternia Remastered features updated visuals and sound, but you can switch Graphics Mode and SFX Mode between the remastered and original versions at any time, so you can relive the game exactly how you remember it or enjoy its refreshed presentation.
